Terms of use
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Bride To Be when you use bridetobe.uk. Please read them before creating an account. By creating an account, you agree to them. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.
1. About us
bridetobe.uk is run by Bride To Be, a small business based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at bridetobedigitalco@gmail.com.
2. What we provide
Bride To Be is an online wedding planner. It includes a budget planner, guest list and RSVPs, seating plan, checklist, mood boards, supplier search, honeymoon planner and a wedding website with invitations that couples can share with their guests.
There is a free plan and a paid Complete Planner. What each includes and the current prices are shown on our pricing section. We’re a new service and we keep improving it, so features may change. We won’t take away something you’ve paid for without offering a fair alternative or refund.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Please give a real email address and keep your password private. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
4. Your content and your guests
- It’s yours. Your plans, words and photos belong to you. You give us permission to store them and show them in your planner and on your wedding website, only so we can run the service for you.
- Guests’ details. Only add people you’re genuinely inviting, and let them know you’re using Bride To Be for your invitations and RSVPs. Our privacy policy explains how we look after their information.
- Your wedding website is public to anyone who has the link. It shows your names, date, venue, story, schedule and places to stay, but never your guest list, RSVPs or budget. Don’t put anything on it you’d want kept private.
- Please don’t upload anything unlawful, offensive or hurtful, or photos and content you don’t have the right to use. We may remove content like this and, if needed, close the account.
5. Invitations and RSVPs
We work hard to make sure every reply reaches you, but we can’t guarantee that every guest will receive your invitation, open it or reply. Messages sent through WhatsApp or other apps are sent from your own account and are subject to that app’s rules. Please keep an eye on your guest list and follow up with anyone who hasn’t replied.
6. Supplier search and places to stay
Supplier and accommodation listings come from free public maps (OpenStreetMap). We don’t check, recommend or endorse any business shown, and their details may be out of date. Always check reviews, contracts and prices yourself before booking. Any agreement you make is between you and that business.
7. Paying for the Complete Planner
- The Complete Planner is a one-off payment per wedding, not a subscription. The price is shown before you pay and includes any VAT that applies.
- Payments are handled securely by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Your paid features unlock straight away and stay available for your wedding.
8. Refunds
If you change your mind, you can have a full refund within 14 days of paying, as long as you haven’t used the paid features. That means you haven’t yet sent invitations or collected RSVPs through your wedding website. Just email us from the address on your account.
If something doesn’t work as it should, tell us and we’ll fix it. If we can’t, we’ll give you a fair refund. This is on top of your legal rights.
9. Keeping the service running
We aim to keep bridetobe.uk available at all times, but occasionally it may be unavailable for updates or for reasons outside our control. We can’t promise it will never go down or lose information, so we recommend downloading a copy of your plans from Backup & export from time to time, especially close to your wedding.
10. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
- We provide tools to help you plan. Decisions about your wedding, your suppliers and your money are yours, and we’re not responsible for the actions of suppliers, venues or guests.
- We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have expected, or for business losses (the planner is for personal use).
- Otherwise, if we’re responsible for a loss, the most we’ll pay is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using Bride To Be at any time. To close your account and delete your plans, email us and we’ll do it within 30 days. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. We’ll change the date at the top and, for important changes, let couples know before they take effect.
13. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a problem, please email us first — we’d much rather put things right.
